T20 Senior Cricket Tournament 2018, 8-13/10
Welcome and introduction
Hellenic Cricket Federation (HCF) is pleased to invite clubs/teams, from across the globe, to take part in the H.P.L T20 Senior Cricket Tournament which will be held in Corfu the period from 8-1 of October 2018. Exceptionally at the tournament will be able to participate up to three (3) younger players. The teams who wish to use younger players must submit to the Hellenic Cricket Federation the Special Dispensation – Underage application form signed by the guardian of the player at least two (2) months before the start of the Tournament.
Format
T20 Tournament. One innings per side, each innings limited to a maximum of 20 overs.
Tournament venue/grounds
The tournament will be held in the beautiful island of Corfu. Corfu is one of the most cosmopolitan islands of Greece, located on the northern side of the Ionian Sea. Marina cricket ground(artificial) will be used, which is 2km away from the hotel.

The matches of the tournament will be held from Monday 1st till Saturday 6th of October

Arrival and departure
Teams should organize to arrive in Corfu on Sunday 30rd and depart on Sunday 7th. Coaches will transport teams from the airport to the hotel. Transfer time to hotel from airport is about 30- 45 minutes respectively. Flight details to be sent to the Tournament organizer at .
Tournament umpires and officials
Every team is required to provide one umpire (with umpiring diploma if it is possible or cricketing experience) and one scorer (in a good level) who will participate to all the matches of the tournament. These two should be notified in the application form. Team officials will be fully responsible for the discipline of their team members during the event and period of stay. Participants are advised to ensure the safety of their belongings at all times.
Managers, coaches and captains meetings
There will be a meeting of team officials chaired by the Tournament Referee, on the evening before the first day of the tournament.
Accommodation
All the teams (players and officials will accommodate at Ionian Park Hotel (4 star Hotel). Accommodation is booked on a bed, breakfast and dinner basis. Any extras must be settled in cooperation with Hellenic Cricket Federation Office. Hotel rooming list to be sent to the Tournament Organizer.

Meals
Breakfast and dinner is provided in the hotel. It is essential that all teams inform the Tournament Organizer at of any special dietary requirements.
Medical facilities
There will be pharmacies boxes at all grounds .In case of emergency there will be full cover from the national center of urgent need.
Awards
- Το the winning team will be given trophy and medals
- 2.000 euros sponsoring award to the winning team (with the condition of the participation of five teams at least)
- To the Runners up will be given trophy and medals.
- To the 3rd place will be given medals

- Spirit of cricket team award
- In all participant teams will be given diplomas/certifications.
Weather
In Corfu Town people are still enjoying an average temperature of 19°C (66°F), with a high of around 23°C (73°F) and low of 14°C (57°F).
Finance
To secure a place in the Tournament a deposit of 500 euros per team is required. As per every year H.C.F will run a strict “first come first served” policy. Teams who wish to participate in the Tournament, must submit the application form completed and make the deposit no later than 31/1/2018.
