Hellenic Cricket Federation (HCF) is pleased to invite teams, groups, clubs and universities from across the globe, to take part in the SPRING CUP CRICKET TOURNAMENT, which will take place in Corfu \u2013 Greece the period from 08th till 13th of April 2019.<\/p>\n
T20 Tournament. One innings per side, each innings limited to a maximum of 20 overs.<\/p>\n
(details provided at Hellenic Cricket Federation office e mail address at contact@cricket.gr<\/a>)<\/strong> Players over 18 years old can participate in the Tournament Exceptionally at the tournament will be able to participate up to three (3) younger players.<\/strong> The teams who wish to use younger players must submit to the Hellenic Cricket Federation the Special Dispensation – Underage application form signed by the guardian of the player at least two (2) months<\/strong> before the start of the Tournament.<\/p>\n The tournament will be held in the beautiful island of Corfu. Corfu is one of the most cosmopolitan islands of Greece, located on the northern side of the Ionian Sea. Marina Cricket Ground will be used for the matches.<\/p>\n The matches of the tournament will be held from Monday 8th till Saturday 13th of April.<\/strong><\/p>\n Host: Hellenic Cricket Federation (H. C. F)<\/p>\n Teams should organize to arrive in Corfu on Sunday 7th<\/strong> and depart on Sunday 14th of April<\/strong>. Coaches will transport teams from the airport to the hotel. Transfer time to hotel from airport is about 30- 45 minutes respectively. Flight details to be sent to the Tournament organizer at contact@cricket.gr<\/a>.<\/p>\n Every team is required to provide one umpire (with umpiring diploma if it is possible or cricketing experience) and one scorer (in a good level) who will participate to all the matches of the tournament.<\/strong> These two should be notified in the application form. Team officials will be fully responsible for the discipline of their team members during the event and period of stay. Participants are advised to ensure the safety of their belongings at all times.<\/p>\n There will be a meeting of team officials chaired by the Tournament Referee, on the evening before the first day of the tournament.<\/p>\n All the teams (players and officials will accommodate at Ionian Park Hotel (4 star Hotel). Accommodation is booked on a bed, breakfast and dinner basis. Any extras must be settled in cooperation with Hellenic Cricket Federation Office. Hotel rooming list to be sent to the Tournament Organizer.<\/p>\n Ionian Park Hotel Breakfast and dinner is provided in the hotel. It is essential that all schools\/teams inform the Tournament Organizer at contact@cricket.gr of any special dietary requirements<\/p>\n There will be pharmacies boxes at all grounds .In case of emergency there will be full cover from the national center of urgent need.<\/p>\n \u2022 \u03a4\u03bf the winning team will be given trophy and medals. To secure a place in the Tournament a deposit of 500 euros per school\/team is required<\/strong>. As per every year H.C.F will run a strict \u201cfirst come first served\u201d policy. Schools or teams who wish to participate in the Tournament, must submit the application form completed and make the deposit no later than 31\/1\/2019<\/strong>. Participating schools\/teams must proceed to the deposit of the 30% of the cost the latest by 20\/03\/2019. Final payment to be made by 05\/04\/2019.
